Apple has initiated a recall program on an older generation of MacBook Pro 15 "whose" battery may overheat and therefore pose a security risk. " This concerns models sold between September 2015 and February 2017. Other MacBooks, including the 13-inch MacBook Pro of the same period, are not affected, says Apple. "Since security is a top priority for Apple, the company is asking its customers to stop using these 15-inch MacBook Pro ," says the manufacturer, who invites potentially affected customers to visit the special webpage.set up for this recall. To check the model, select "About this Mac" from the Apple menu at the top left of the screen. If the MacBook Pro is eligible for the recall, the replacement process can take two to three weeks, warns Apple.

The previous keyboards for the MacBook

The risk of fire is the last pitfall of the MacBook range. Recent models, whose chassis have been redesigned, have been the subject of much criticism since Apple changed the keyboard mechanism for the first time in 2015 with the MacBook.

In March, the apple brand announced that it had once again reworked the butterfly keyboard of the new MacBook Pro to solve these problems (letters or characters that are repeated unexpectedly, do not appear, one or more keys that seem "blocked" or do not respond consistently) and offer free replacements for those who have problems with their keyboard.
