Our customer is currently looking for a production manager to lead and direct our production team.
Tasks include hiring, training, and managing people who are in one of our fast-paced shifts in entry and factory work positions. This is a management position with practical responsibility and accountability for the daily production flow and the end result. Additional responsibilities include meeting daily productivity and quality requirements and maintaining inventory control. Maintaining safety in the factory is also an important task. Production supervisors are responsible for training partners in the company's safety policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and regulations, and highlighting a safety culture throughout the site.
qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• A four-year university degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• The ability to handle physical demands, including repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting
• Ability to set and prioritize goals
• Availability will begin within two weeks after the offer has been made / accepted
