According to a report by IHS Markit, Apple would like to market a device equipped with a foldable screen. The product in question would have a slab of 12.9 inches and would be 5G compatible. It could be a new iPad, a MacBook or even the replacement of both. For the moment, very little information has leaked about it, but it is not surprising to learn that the firm at the apple works on a device of this type. After all, Samsung and Huawei have already unveiled foldable smartphones that are (almost) ready for commercialization .
Just a few days ago, Apple CEO Tim Cook said in an interview with NBC News that some breathtaking products were in development: " Our design teams have a huge talent. "We've already said, they're stronger than ever, and I'm sure they'll continue to evolve, we know the incredible things they can do, and the projects they're working on are going to take your breath away."
We will certainly have additional information in the weeks or months to come, at least if a product is actually in development. In the meantime, IHS Markit specifies that a MacBook Pro with a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 372 x 1920 will be released in the fall.
